Ann De Bode, geboren in 1956 in Congo, woont in Duffel in België. Omringd door muziek, een hond, 2 poezen en wel duizend kleurpotloden, illustreert Ann de hele dag door, dag na dag. Ze experimenteert met polymeerklei, olie- en acrylverf, collages en digitale technieken. Ann illustreert zowel prentenboeken als spannende verhalen voor jeugd van 2 tot 16 jaar. Ondertussen heeft ze bijna 300 boeken voor uitgeverijen in binnen- en buitenland geïllustreerd. Hiervoor ontving ze dan ook verschillende prijzen en onderscheidingen.
Ann De Bode was born in 1956 in the Congo, and currently lives in Duffel Belgium. Surrounded by music, a dog, 2 cats and at least a thousand colored pencils Ann illustrates all day long, day after day. She experiments with polymer clay, oil and acrylic paint, collages and digital techniques. Ann illustrates picture books as well as exciting stories for the youth between the ages of 2 to 16 years old. In the mean time she has illustrated almost 300 books for publishing houses at home as well as abroad. For this she also received several awards and distinctions.
